Early in its development, NPRI seeks to develop relationships with naturopathic professional organizations and project task forces for specific purposes related to the NPRI mission. Targeted discussions are underway with:
1) the Naturopathic Education and Research Consortium (NERC) and the Naturopathic Post-graduate Association (NPGA) on facilitating research as a component of post-graduate residencies,
2) the Foundations of Naturopathic Medicine Project on operationalizing naturopathic concepts for research and
3) the Institute for Natural Medicine on fundraising for research projects and fellowships
4) the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians and its Scientific Affairs Council on enhancing descriptive clinical data in the profession as a first collaboration.
NPRI will seek collaborations with relevant and interested colleagues interprofessionally and with educational, governmental, and industry agencies to carry out its mission.
